PES member parties campaigned on the same day on the same issue on four Saturdays in May! We started on May 9 with ‘New Social Europe’, continued on May 16 with 'Climate change', then on May 23 ‘Relaunching the economy’and finishing last Saturday with ‘People first: a new direction for Europe’.

PES Women in action

Campaign meetings from Vilnius to Spain, Zita Gurmai has been campaigning on the internet, blogging on how the PES celebrates all families and not just one ideological view of what the family should be; on how the PES is THE party of gender equality; and why we need to step up efforts to find a vaccine for AIDS.
